I have been completely taken by suprise by the ice hotel, it made me wish I could come up with an idea so astonishing. At the begining of the project my intentions were to create a design to shock and a design to make people feel really uncomfortable in the surroundings they were put in. I have felt by researching and looking at the ice hotel that people didn't quite get the impression of the hotel that I did when looking through pictures, most reviews i've read from visitors all over the world have said "Even if your vaguely intrigued by this hotel, It's definetly worth visiting".
When I was working on my designs I still wanted to make the public feel slightly uncomfortable when they were to walk into my nightclub. I have tried to create this ever so slightly by having features such as indoor waterfalls, aquariums and Jaccuzi. I have also made use of some un-suitable materials like glass flooring and reflective glass.
