Over the past week I have drawn a couple of designs for rooms in the home. In these designs I have taken inspiration from Autumn. To me when I think of wind I instantly think of this season and the colours that are used whether they are natural or colours used in design.

After drawing a few designs I realised how hard it was to draw a room that shows everything, I then heard about a free downloadable software called SketchUp by google. This programme is in 3D and is there for anyone who is interested in working with CAD (computer aided designs).

Possible Ideas

After brainstorming Wind and Sea I decided to look on google images for some designs that have taken inspiration from either of the two words. I decided after looking at some images that ideas taken from the Sea is quite popular when coming to design rooms, so I have come to the decision that I will design a room based around inspiration taken from Wind and other ideas I can relate to the word.

Extended Project

I have just started a new project at college, It is an extended project where I will be graded in a slightly different way to normal. For this project we were given a word to start of our research, the word chosen is Movement. As a class and as an individual we brainstormed the word "Movement" and the types of movement we come across in everyday life.

After doing the class brainstorm I decided to do two of my own, I chose to look at Wind and Sea to try and collect ideas for a possible design for a room in the home.
